Low blood microglobulin β2 is not a sign of renal insufficiency.
Blood β2 microglobulin is an indicator in kidney function test, which is used to reflect kidney function. When the organism has renal insufficiency, the excretory function of the kidney will be reduced to different degrees, and this index will be elevated. It is also elevated in cases of multiple myeloma. Low results are not a sign of renal insufficiency.
It is recommended that patients with abnormalities of blood β2 microglobulin should go to the hospital in time to clarify the cause and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment.
