Lung cancer brain metastasis always sleeps well

Brain metastasis of lung cancer is generally not a good thing, because brain metastasis of lung cancer is prone to brain cell edema, central nervous system damage, manifesting as impaired consciousness, drowsiness, shallow coma or even deep coma, clinical manifestations of headache, nausea, vomiting, and even fever. If brain metastasis of lung cancer can be treated actively, local radiotherapy to the head is generally recommended. Local radiotherapy can be used for brain metastases, which can effectively relieve brain cell edema, shrink intracranial metastases and improve the state of consciousness. However, due to the age of some lung cancer brain metastases and the size of the head mass, the effect of radiotherapy alone may not be too satisfactory and needs to be combined with systemic chemotherapy, which can be given to lung cancer, while radiotherapy is mainly given to the head. If you can tolerate this kind of radiotherapy, it can temporarily relieve the clinical manifestations, but if you cannot tolerate it, it will aggravate the disease. Therefore, brain metastasis of lung cancer needs to be further evaluated for intracranial lesions, and if it is too drowsy, it means that the prognosis is not satisfactory.
