Nostril bleeding is mainly treated by acupressure and stuffing to stop bleeding quickly.
Shiatsu method is suitable for patients with small amount of bleeding nosebleed, its specific operation steps are to take a sitting position after the body leaning forward at the same time and lowered head, and then use the thumb and forefinger to press both sides of the nose for about 5-10 minutes. It can also be combined with wet towel cold compresses on the forehead and the back of the neck to narrow the local capillaries.
When the bleeding is heavy, the bleeding can be stopped by stuffing, the main operation method is to knead the appropriate size of paper towel into a ball and then stuffed into the bleeding side of the nasal cavity, while keeping the head tilted forward.
If the bleeding is severe or cannot be stopped after trying to treat the bleeding, consult a doctor immediately to find out the cause and follow the doctor’s instructions. Avoid picking your nose, stop smoking and drinking, maintain perinasal hygiene, and eat a reasonable diet.
