What it means for a girl to get the nine-valent vaccine

The nine-valent cervical cancer vaccine for girls means that it reduces the chances of HPV infection and thus the chances of cervical cancer. Cervical cancer vaccine refers to HPV vaccine, which can be categorized into bivalent, quadrivalent and Septavalent. Timely injection of cervical cancer vaccine for women can prevent HPV infection and reduce the chance of cervical cancer. The main reason why women develop cervical cancer is that they are continuously infected with high-risk types of HPV, especially types 16 and 18. Nine-valent cervical cancer vaccine is mainly for women aged 16-26 years old. It can prevent infection of HPV types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52 and 58, thus reducing the chances of occurrence of cervical cancer, condyloma acuminatum and vulvar cancer. Regular cervical cancer screening is still required after vaccination.
