Pathological classification of Hodgkin’s lymphoma

Nodular lymphocyte-dominant type: Nodular lymphocyte-dominant type is not a common pathological type of HL, accounting for 5-6% of HL. The lymph node structure of this type of HL basically disappears, but sometimes a few residual lymphoid follicles can be seen. This type of HL is a mature B-cell tumor with a good prognosis. It can occur in both adolescents and the elderly, and the median age of onset is 30 years; the ratio of men to women is 3:1 or higher; the tumor often invades the peripheral lymph nodes, and mediastinal invasion is rare; the lesion is limited, and 80% of patients are stage I or II at the time of diagnosis, and often have no B symptoms. Radiotherapy alone can achieve good results, with a 15-year survival rate of >90%, but recurrence can occur later. Two to six percent of this type of HL can be converted to B-cell NHL, and the cause of death is mainly NHL. A: nodular sclerosis type with good prognosis B: mixed cell type C: lymphocyte-ablative type with poor prognosis. D: Lymphocyte-rich classical
