From the analysis of TCM etiology and pathogenesis, the main causes of these patients can be attributed to emotion and diet. In terms of emotional disorders, due to redundant chores, the heart fire flares up, or the mind is sad and depressed, and the internal fire (referring to liver fire) ignites itself. The evil of fire and heat moves to the lungs, and the disease is extinguished (i.e., thirst). In the clinical treatment of such patients, the following main types of symptoms can be analyzed and used: (a) Qi and fluid injury, stasis of veins and ligaments: Patients often present with chest pains that are instantaneous, easy fatigue, dry mouth and little fluid.
