Is it cerebral palsy if an infant stirs up when breastfeeding?

If there are no other symptoms, parents should not be alarmed. It is possible that the feeding position makes the baby uncomfortable, or that he or she is sucking too quickly and inhaling air, which causes abdominal discomfort, and can be relieved by adjusting the position and gently patting the baby’s back to help burping. If your baby has the following other symptoms, you should be careful: 1. Motor development is lagging behind, your baby cannot perform actions that normal babies of the same age can perform, such as not being able to lift their head, laugh, sit, grasp things, etc. 2. 2, arms or legs have stiffness, spasticity or paralysis. 3. Abnormal body posture, for example, the baby usually keeps one posture all the time. Baby cerebral palsy is closely related to factors such as congenital developmental abnormalities, smoking and alcohol during mother’s pregnancy, and infections. If you find that your baby has the above symptoms, you need to seek medical attention in time. The treatment plan usually used now is a combination of doctor’s guidance and home training, functional training with surgery, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and other auxiliary methods to promote the child’s motor development. Cerebral palsy in babies can cause great distress throughout their lives. If it is detected early and treatment is started at the stage of motor system development during infancy, it is easy to achieve better results, so mothers and fathers must pay close attention to their babies’ condition.
