Chinese medicine for breast disease

Chinese medicine is a treasure of China, and leaders of the Party and the State have attached great importance to the development of Chinese medicine in successive generations. With the improvement of living standard, the incidence of breast diseases in China is getting higher and higher. Various breast diseases such as mastopathy, breast inflammation, especially breast cancer seriously affect the physical and mental health of women, and once they suffer from such diseases, they are in fear and anxiety. At present, the main treatment for breast cancer is surgery, while other treatments include radiotherapy, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy and Chinese medicine. Patients with mastopathy account for more than 80% of outpatients, and these patients often present with breast pain and lumps. Western medicine has no special treatment, while Chinese medicine treatment methods are rich and diverse, such as soup internal use, acupuncture point application, acupuncture massage, ointment external application. These methods are simple and inexpensive, with little side effects and lasting effects. In the treatment of breast cancer, TCM also occupies an important position. Firstly, when combined with surgery, it can improve the general condition of patients, reduce the adverse reactions and complications of surgical trauma, and provide better conditions for post-surgical treatment; secondly, when combined with radiation therapy and chemotherapy, it can reduce the toxic side effects of radiotherapy, enhance the therapeutic effect of radiotherapy (reduce toxicity and increase effectiveness), and have obvious therapeutic effects on the suppression of hematopoietic function, immune function, gastrointestinal reaction, and damage to liver and spleen caused by chemotherapy. Third, long-term adherence to TCM during the postoperative and post-radiotherapy recovery period can stabilize the disease, consolidate the therapeutic effect, reduce recurrence and metastasis, and improve the long-term therapeutic effect; fourth, for patients who cannot undergo surgery and radiotherapy, TCM treatment can improve symptoms, reduce pain, improve the quality of survival, and prolong the survival period (survival time with tumor); fifth, TCM can also prevent and treatment of certain precancerous lesions.
