Vaginal cleanliness is a test of vaginal secretions. Vaginal cleanliness is categorized into I, II, III and IV degrees.
The I or II degree indicates that the secretion is at a normal level, without stray bacteria and white blood cells, and there is no inflammatory infection; a cleanliness degree of III is an indication that the vagina has a high number of stray bacteria and white blood cells, and there is a mild inflammation; and a cleanliness degree of IV means that there are a large number of white blood cells and stray bacteria in the vagina, and there is a severe inflammation.
When vaginal cleanliness IV degree needs further examination to determine whether it is trichomonas vaginitis, pseudofilamentous yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis, and based on the results of the examination to decide which medication to use for treatment.
