How many times a day should I take azithromycin?

Azithromycin is an antibiotic that can be taken as a single dose once a day for adults with sexually transmitted diseases caused by Chlamydia trachomatis and other infections, and once a day for three days with other infections. It is also taken once a day by children, with the exact dosage determined by their own body weight. The use of the drug is subject to medical supervision.
Azithromycin drug dosage form includes azithromycin tablets as well as azithromycin capsules, with specifications of 0.25g and 0.5g. It can be used to treat bacterial-induced acute tonsillitis, otitis media and other diseases.
For adults infected with sexually transmitted diseases caused by Chlamydia trachomatis or sensitive Neisseria gonorrhoeae, only a single oral dose of 1.0g is required, while for adults infected with other types of common diseases, it is a once-daily dose (0.5g), which is usually taken for 3 days. When children are infected with the disease, they are also given a single daily dose of the drug, which is determined by their own body weight.
Adverse reactions such as abdominal pain and nausea may occur after the use of the drug. Patients who are allergic to azithromycin, erythromycin, other macrolides or ketolactones need to avoid the use of this drug. The use of the drug needs to be under the supervision of a doctor.
