Peritoneal cancer is a malignant tumor originating from the peritoneal mesothelium, which is multifocal in growth and relatively rare in clinical practice. The main symptoms of peritoneal cancer are abdominal distension, abdominal pain and enlarged abdominal circumference. Early symptoms are not obvious, but as the disease develops to a certain extent, large amount of ascites and abdominal masses will appear. The diagnosis of peritoneal cancer mainly relies on peritoneal puncture or surgical biopsy, and extensive tumor nodules of peritoneum can be seen during surgery. Patients with peritoneal cancer often have more elevated serum CA125. Those who can be operated should be completely removed surgically; those who cannot be completely removed can be treated with cisplatin-based chemotherapy.
