Intracavitary radiofrequency closure operation

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of endovenous radiofrequency closure combined with TriVex aspiration in the treatment of venous insufficiency of the lower extremities. Methods:Seventy-five patients (75 affected limbs) with venous insufficiency of the lower extremities underwent radiofrequency closure of the saphenous vein combined with TfiVex aspiration of the superficial varicose vein, and the complications, changes in CEAP classification and VCSS clinical score before and after the operation were analyzed. Results: The incidence of subcutaneous hematoma was 3.8% and the rate of subcutaneous nodules was 12.0% after the surgery. Conclusion: The use of radiofrequency closure combined with TriVex aspiration for lower limb venous insufficiency is effective, minimally invasive and more humane; the CEAP clinical classification and VCSS clinical score can be used to evaluate its efficacy.
