Molten glass nodules are not only treated with anti-inflammatory drugs, but also with anti-tuberculosis and anti-tumor treatments if they are caused by tuberculosis or lung cancer.
1. If Molluscum contagiosum nodules are determined to be caused by pneumonia, anti-infective treatment is the main focus, and anti-inflammatory drugs can achieve better results.
2. If PGN is caused by tuberculosis, regular anti-tuberculosis treatment should be carried out according to doctor’s prescription, using anti-tuberculosis drugs such as isoniazid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide, streptomycin and so on.
3. If it is suspected that the ground-glass nodules are caused by lung cancer, after fiberoptic bronchoscopy and pathological biopsy to diagnose lung cancer, anti-tumor treatment should be carried out at the earliest possible time, including surgical resection, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, etc. Not all lung ground-glass nodules are caused by lung cancer.
Not all lung ground-glass nodules can only be treated with anti-infection therapy, and it is recommended to consult a doctor in time for examination and treatment under the doctor’s guidance.
