What’s going on with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Chronic Anal Sinusitis?

Irritable bowel syndrome and chronic anal sinusitis are two different diseases. Irritable bowel syndrome is a functional bowel disease caused by genetic factors, intestinal inflammation and other factors; while chronic sinusitis is a bacterial infection caused by dry stools and damage at the sinuses. 1. Irritable bowel syndrome: its pathogenesis is not clear, considering the relationship with genetic factors, intestinal infections, bacterial flora disorders and food intolerance, belonging to a functional intestinal lesions, mainly manifested as abdominal recurrent, episodic abdominal pain, changes in bowel habits. 2. Chronic sinusitis: mostly seen in long-term dry stool or diarrhea patients, resulting in fecal damage to the sinuses or fecal accumulation in the sinuses, which in turn creates conditions for bacterial infection of the sinuses, and then cause infection. The main symptoms are pain in the anus, swelling and discomfort, as well as a feeling of incomplete bowel movement.
