What are the precursors of stroke

Stroke is a stroke, i.e. cerebrovascular accident, which generally has an acute onset, but a large proportion of patients will have some early signals 1 to 2 days or hours before the onset of stroke, at which time if they can be recognized in time and treated actively and effectively, most of them may turn the patient to safety and prevent the occurrence of stroke and disease progression. The main symptoms of the precursors of stroke are: 1. Transient slanting of the mouth and eyes, drooling, slurred speech, difficulty in spitting out words, incomprehension of the meaning of words or others, choking on water, weakness or inflexibility of one limb, unstable walking or sudden fall. This is caused by damage to the local motor function area due to insufficient blood supply to the brain tissue. 2, transient numbness of the face, tongue, lips or limbs, some patients also show blackness in front of the eyes, or momentary difficulty in seeing, tinnitus or changes in hearing. This is due to the damage of sensory function due to insufficient blood supply to brain tissue. 3, mental depression, always want to sleep or feel drowsy all day. The personality may also appear to be abnormal, such as suddenly becoming silent, indifferent in expression, or slow in action, or talkative and irritable, or there may be a transient loss of consciousness, which is also related to cerebral ischemia. 4. General fatigue and weakness, sweating, low fever, chest tightness, palpitations or sudden hiccups, vomiting, etc., which are mainly the manifestations of vegetative nerve dysfunction. 5.Headache, generally a sense of distension, may have a stiff neck, mostly accompanied by nausea and vomiting, which is due to the increase in intracranial pressure caused by edema after brain tissue injury, etc. Therefore, as long as there are precursor symptoms appear, for the middle-aged and elderly people should be especially alert. At this time, the patient should be kept quiet, rest in bed, avoid mental tension, and be sent to the hospital for timely treatment.
