Do you need to be screened for stroke?

Having more than 2 or 3 of the following risk factors is recommended for stroke screening. 1, high blood pressure or taking antihypertensive medication 2, hypercholesterolemia or taking lipid-lowering medication 3, diabetes 4, atrial fibrillation or other heart disease 5, respiratory sleep apnea 6, history of stroke or heart disease in immediate family (father, mother, siblings, sons and daughters) 7, tobacco use 8, heavy alcohol consumption 9, lack of physical activity, unable to do it consistently 3 times a week (each time for at least 20-30 minutes) 10, diets containing too much saturated fatty acids or fats 11, obesity 12, age over 50 years 13, male 14, gums often bleed, swelling and pain, gum recession, loose teeth, loss 15, history of ischemic eye disease 16, sudden deafness
