Myocarditis belongs to the category of palpitation in Chinese medicine. Its diagnosis and treatment include cardiac deficiency and timidity, cardiac blood insufficiency, yin deficiency and fire, cardiac yang deficiency, water-drinking overriding the heart, blood stasis blocking the heart veins, and phlegm and fire disturbing the heart. 1. Heart deficiency and timidity syndrome: palpitations are restless, good at panic, attacks when slightly frightened, aggravated by exertion, restlessness, easy to wake up from sleep. Tranquilizing Spirit and Tingzhi Pill is recommended. 2. Heart-blood insufficiency syndrome: palpitation, shortness of breath, dizziness, insomnia, forgetfulness, tiredness, loss of appetite, and colorlessness. It is recommended to add or subtract Gui Spleen Pill. 3. Symptoms of Yin deficiency and fire exuberance: palpitation and easily startled, insomnia and heartburn, five heartburns and heat (heat in the hearts of the hands and feet, and self-consciousness of the heart and chest), dry mouth and night sweating (sweating abnormally after falling asleep, but stopping after waking up), accompanied by tinnitus and lumbar acidity, dizziness and dizziness, and impatience and irritability. It is advisable to add and subtract Tianwang Xinzhu Dan and Zhu Sha An Shen Wan. 4. Heart-Yang Dysphoria: palpitations, chest tightness and shortness of breath, especially when moving, cold body and limbs, pale face. Gui Zhi Gan Cao Long Bone and Oyster Soup combined with Ginseng and Forsythia Soup should be added and reduced. 5. Water-drinking overriding the heart syndrome: palpitation and dizziness, chest tightness and plumpness (stomach distension and discomfort), swelling of the lower limbs, coldness of the form and limbs, accompanied by coughing and wheezing, nausea, and desire to vomit. Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang should be added and reduced. 6. Evidence of stasis obstructing the heart veins: palpitations and restlessness, chest tightness and discomfort, heart pain, pain like pins and needles, and bruising of the lips and nails. Add and subtract Peach Kernel and Safflower Decoction. 7. Phlegm-fire disturbing the heart syndrome: palpitations occurring and stopping, easy to startle, chest tightness and irritability, insomnia and dreaminess, dry and bitter mouth, constipation. Huang Lian Wen Bile Tang should be added and reduced. If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time, so as not to delay the condition.
