If patients with CNS lymphoma are in the recovery period or in the stable stage of the disease after treatment, they can generally take vaccine booster shots; if they are in the anti-tumor treatment period such as radiotherapy, vaccine booster shots are generally not recommended. If CNS lymphoma is in the period of physical recovery or disease stabilization, the patient’s immunity is generally at the normal level, and the patient can take vaccination booster shots to achieve the purpose of preventing the disease. If CNS lymphoma is under treatment, the patient’s body immunity will be low due to chemotherapy and other anti-tumor treatments, and the patient’s body will not be able to produce the corresponding antibody to prevent the disease. Moreover, the immune-boosting injection may also conflict with the drugs used to treat lymphoma, so it is not recommended.
