Causes of tongue fissures

The cause of tongue fissure may be due to chronic wasting disease, oral hygiene factors, grooved tongue, tongue trauma, chronic injury.

3. Grooved tongue: it is a more common disease on the back of the tongue, the etiology is not clear, it may be related to age. It may be related to age.
