The causes of liver palms include diseases, drugs, and lifestyle factors, among which, cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis are more common, which are mainly manifested as red patches, spots, and flaky congestion in the palms of the hands.
The appearance of liver palms is mainly manifested as pink plaques on both sides of the palms of the patient’s palms, including the big and small fissures and the inner sides of each finger, which are cinnabar-colored, and can become pale white due to the change of blood flow after pressing, and can be seen as pink again after the pressure is lifted. The palms are mostly normal in color, and small arteries can be seen connecting in patches. In more serious cases, the soles of the feet may appear abnormal red color.
However, the appearance of liver palm symptoms does not necessarily mean that suffering from liver disease, but may also be related to the palm of the hand peeling or congenital thin skin of the palm, if the patient appears to liver palm, it is recommended to consult a doctor in a timely manner, further examination.
