Gastric cancer patients may suffer from severe pain, serious respiratory difficulty, extreme wasting, consciousness disorder and other manifestations before death. 1. Severe pain: most advanced cancer patients will have different degrees of cancer pain, including stomach cancer patients, especially when the tumor widely metastasizes and invades the abdominal nerve plexus or bone metastasis, the pain will be more obvious. 2. Severe dyspnea: gastric cancer in advanced stage can have extensive peritoneal metastasis, forming a large amount of ascites, which squeezes the diaphragm and reduces the volume of thoracic cavity, therefore, patients will have severe dyspnea, which is manifested as obvious wheezing, shortness of breath, cyanosis and so on. 3. Extreme emaciation: patients with advanced stage of gastric cancer often have different degrees of temporary difficulties and malnutrition, while cancer itself is a consumptive disease, tumor cell proliferation and metastasis consume a large amount of energy and nutrients, therefore, patients have obvious emaciation before their death, which is called malignant morbidity. 4. Obstruction of consciousness: gastric cancer patients may have a series of obstruction of consciousness one hour before death, such as confusion, drowsiness, coma, delirium and so on.
