Thick vinegar-white epithelium is one of the manifestations of cervical colposcopy, and this mostly indicates precancerous cervical lesions. Generally speaking, for cervical TCT and HPV abnormalities, colposcopy and multi-point biopsy should be performed. The most important step in colposcopy is to observe the cervical changes after applying acetic acid. If the cervical epithelium appears to have clear boundaries of vinegar-white epithelium after applying acetic acid, and the texture is very thick, it indicates that there are precancerous lesions, even severe precancerous lesions. For such a lesion, a biopsy must be done in time to make a clear diagnosis. If precancerous lesions are diagnosed, appropriate surgical treatment should be given.
