The sequelae of varicocele surgery mainly include testicular artery damage, syringomyelia, recurrence of varicocele and so on.
1. Testicular artery damage: testicular artery may be damaged during varicocele surgery due to improper operation, and long-term lack of blood supply from testicular artery may cause testicular atrophy of the patient.
2. Syringomyelia: If the lymphatic vessels are mistakenly injured or ligated during the operation, poor circulation of lymphatic vessels will cause syringomyelia.
3. Recurrence of varicocele: If there is a missed ligation of the genus branch of the spermatic vein after varicocele surgery, it may cause recurrence of varicocele.
