Among the surveyed elderly people over 75 years old, 15% of them are still engaged in part-time social work and other social activities, including 20 part-time social workers and 59 people engaged in other social activities. 2 people are over 90 years old. Although participation in social activities is not the main factor for a long and healthy life, it can enhance the sense of responsibility for society and improve physical and mental health. The survey proves that the elderly over 75 years old are still capable of participating in social activities. 6. The influence of medical insurance on healthy longevity. Among the 600 elderly people surveyed, 492 were covered by different forms of medical insurance by the society; 106 were self-paying; and 2 were unable to pay for medical expenses without medical insurance. Most of the elderly people have social medical insurance, which is an important element for their health and longevity. 7. The influence of height and weight on longevity. According to the BMI measured by 464 elderly people surveyed, most of them are not fat but not thin, therefore, weight control is an important factor for a long and healthy life. There was no significant difference in the height of the surveyed population by age group, and nearly half of them were 1.55-1.6 meters tall. The average height of women is lower than that of men, which means that they may live longer with lower height. 8. The effect of blood pressure control on healthy longevity. Among the 599 elderly people surveyed, 86% of them used different methods to control their blood pressure within the normal and basic normal range. Therefore, controlling blood pressure, especially systolic blood pressure, is an important element for a long and healthy life. 9. Influence of age-related diseases on healthy longevity Among the 600 elderly people surveyed, 101 suffered from coronary heart disease; 18 suffered from cerebral infarction; 376 suffered from hypertension; 65 suffered from diabetes; 37 suffered from hyperlipidemia, dyskinesia, hyperuricemia and gout, and peptic ulcer. The ability to take care of oneself is an important element of a long and healthy life. 11. The influence of living and resting habits on healthy longevity. Among the 585 respondents, 417 people went to bed before 9 p.m., 123 people went to bed before 10 p.m. and 5 people went to bed after 11 p.m. The age group of 90 years old and above could go to bed before 10 p.m.; the sleeping time was more than 7~8 hours. Among the 596 respondents, 48 woke up before 4:00 a.m., 209 woke up before 5:00 a.m., 310 woke up before 7:00 a.m., and 29 woke up before 8:00 a.m. Of the 593 respondents, 393 had the habit of taking a nap, and 280 napped within one hour; 38 of the 600 respondents had the habit of sleeping late. Adequate sleep and regular living and resting habits are one of the elements of a long and healthy life. 12. The influence of personal hobbies on healthy longevity. Among 454 people surveyed, 57 people, or 121 6%, had hobbies of painting and calligraphy; 73 people had hobbies of flowers and trees; 55 people had hobbies of chess and cards; and 260 people had hobbies of housework. Those who have hobbies accounted for 98% of the surveyed people. Photography and bird raising are also popular among the elderly, but the proportion is very small. The elderly people have their own hobbies is also a factor of healthy and long life. 13. The influence of insisting on physical exercise on healthy and long life. Among the 587 people surveyed, 357 people insisted on exercising, 290 of them used walking, 104 of them walked for less than 30 minutes each time, 170 of them walked for 30 minutes to less than 2 hours; 21 people used mountain climbing, 52% of them climbed for 1 hour each time; 40 people used boxing and fencing, 1112% of them, 32% of them fenced for 30 minutes to 1 hour each time. 32%. Proper physical exercise also has a certain influence on healthy longevity. 14, the effect of smoking on health and longevity Among the 600 respondents, 88% did not smoke. There were 70 people who smoked, accounting for 11%; 58 of them were men and 12 were women. 19 of the smokers smoked 5 cigarettes a day; 31 smoked 6 to 10 cigarettes. The percentage of non-smokers or less smokers was 96%. Non-smoker or less smoker is an important element for the elderly to live a long and healthy life. 15. The effect of alcohol consumption on health and longevity. Among the 600 respondents, 127 people had the habit of drinking alcohol; 104 of them were men and 23 were women. 4 people aged 90 or older had the habit of drinking alcohol, 3 of them were men and 1 was a woman. The number of drinkers, according to 122 people: 85 people (69%) drink 2 taels of alcohol per day; 67 men and 18 women; 31 people (25%) drink 3-5 taels of alcohol; 28 men and 3 women; 4 people (men) drink 6-9 taels of alcohol; 2 people (men) drink 1 kg of alcohol; the total of both accounts for 419%, and the proportion of drinkers decreases with age. According to the statistics of 118 people, there were 56 people who drank white wine, including 50 men and 6 women. There were 62 people who drank yellow wine, wine and other liquors, of which 49 were male and 13 were female. From the above results, the moderate consumption of alcohol did not affect the health and longevity. 16. The effect of dietary habits on healthy longevity. Among the 600 respondents, 588 people (98%) consumed vegetables daily, 469 people (78%) consumed soy products daily, 459 people (76%) consumed fish daily, 326 people (54%) consumed eggs daily, 431 people (71%) consumed meat daily, and 203 people (33%) consumed milk daily. There were 60 people who did not eat meat, accounting for 10%, of whom 21 were male and 39 were female. Twelve people, or 2%, did not eat meat but only vegetarians, of whom 10 were women and 2 were men. Among the 598 respondents, 297 people (49%) had a light taste, 141 people (23%) had a salty taste, 49 people (81%) had a sweet taste, and 111 people (18%) had an indifferent taste. 48% of people in the 90+ age group had a light taste. Among the 568 respondents, 197 (34%) were green tea drinkers, 12 (2%) were coffee drinkers, 356 (62%) were plain water drinkers, 2 were beverage drinkers, and 1 was black tea drinker. The combination of meat and vegetarian side dishes, mainly vegetarian, light taste and less dessert, drinking green tea, drinking plain water and not drinking additive drinks are the key elements for the elderly to live a long and healthy life. 17. The influence of living environment on longevity and health. Among the 599 respondents, 544 people (90%) lived at home, 299 people (49%) lived with their children, 122 people (20%) lived with their children, 123 people (20%) lived alone, and 55 people (9%) lived in nursing homes. The proportion of couples living together and children living together is the highest. Having a companion and children around is beneficial to a long and healthy life, and those who live alone need to be taken care of. 18. The influence of psychological state on longevity and health. Among the 580 respondents, 292 people (50%) were cheerful and 183 people (31%) liked to do activities with friends. These two groups of elderly people are cheerful and good at making friends, accounting for 81%. Among the 600 respondents, 219 (36%) preferred to exchange ideas and 381 (63%) preferred to be independent thinkers. Those who prefer independent thinkers are higher than those who prefer communicating. Of the 563 respondents, 47 (8%) had a sense of loss after leaving the body, and 516 (91%) had no sense of loss; of the 563 respondents, 331 (58%) were comfortable with social change, 210 (37%) were basically comfortable, and 22 (3%) were not comfortable. Cheerfulness, good thinking, psychological regulation and psychological balance are important elements of a long and healthy life. 19. The influence of whether parents are alive or not on healthy longevity. Among the 580 respondents, 75% of the fathers and 68% of the mothers of the elderly died before the age of 75, while only one of the fathers and nine of the mothers were still alive. Only one father and nine mothers were alive. Whether the parents were alive or not had basically no effect on longevity. 20. The effect of oral health on longevity. Among the 564 respondents, 443 people (78%) still had teeth, 118 people (20%) had 20 teeth, 67 people (11%) had 15-19 teeth, 103 people (18%) had 10-14 teeth, and 155 people (27%) had 9 teeth. The number of existing teeth decreased with age. Among the 564 people surveyed, 289 people had dentures, accounting for 51%, including 121 people with all dentures, accounting for 21%; 82 people with 10 dentures and 86 people with 9 dentures, a total of 168 people, accounting for 29%. Strengthening oral health care and replacing missing teeth at any time is also the key to a long and healthy life for the elderly.
