3. Stage III: Stage III is the shallow ulcer stage, is the dermis layer appears a necrosis, the local manifestation of epidermal blisters rupture, sores have yellow liquid oozing, infection can have pus, resulting in shallow local tissue necrosis, the formation of ulcers.
4. Fourth stage: the fourth stage is the necrotic ulcer stage, manifested as the local black, purulent secretion increases, and odor. The necrotic tissue shedding is interspersed, often with scabs and subcutaneous tunnels. Stage IV is the serious stage of pressure ulcers, and the base can reach the periosteum and the deep muscle layer, which can jeopardize the patient’s life.
