Cancer belongs to the category of “cancer” in traditional Chinese medicine, and traditional Chinese medicine is not the main treatment for cancer, and the efficacy of Xia Gu Cao is to clear the liver and fire, brighten the eyes, disperse knots and eliminate swelling, which is not very useful for the treatment of cancer, therefore, there is no such thing as Xia Gu Cao formula for cancer treatment.
Xia Gu Cao is the dried fruit spikes of Xia Gu Cao of Labiatae family, which has the efficacy of clearing the liver and diarrhea fire, brightening the eyes, dispersing the knots and eliminating the swelling, and it can be used for treating the diseases such as liver fire attacking, headache and dizziness, red and swollen eyes, eyeballs and night pains, gall tumors (equivalent to the tumors of thyroid glands), scrofula (mainly refers to the tuberculosis of lymph nodes of the neck), and the distension and pain of the breasts, and so on.
Xia Gu Cao can also be used to treat carbuncle (red, swollen and painful breasts with poor milk discharge, eventually forming a purulent disease), breast fetish (painful lumps in the breasts, closely related to the menstrual cycle and emotional changes, equivalent to mammary hyperplasia) and other conditions, and its adverse reactions and contraindications are still not clear.
Chinese medicine is generally not used as the main treatment for cancer, and from the viewpoint of the efficacy and function of Xia Gu Cao, it has little therapeutic effect on cancer. Cancer patients are advised to seek medical treatment in time and take appropriate treatment according to the doctor’s prescription, and not to use medicine blindly by themselves, so as not to delay the treatment time.
