What are polycystic changes?

Polycystic changes are defined as ovarian polycystic changes, most commonly seen in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome. Bilateral ovaries with polycystic changes are seen under ultrasonography, with multiple follicles present and no mature follicles present, the number of follicles is greater than 10 in most patients and may be accompanied by bilateral ovarian enlargement. It is considered to be found after the appearance of infertility. The main clinical manifestations are infertility, menstrual disorders, obesity, and recurrent acne. Use drugs for menstrual cycle regulation to promote ovulation, and use estrogen and progesterone combined to form an artificial menstrual cycle. Pay attention to a reasonable diet, strengthen exercise, control weight, prevent the occurrence of insulin resistance, protect the endometrium, and require regular review.
