What to do if you find out you’re pregnant after a shot

If you have taken a drug intramuscularly or intravenously for a certain disease and later find out that you are pregnant, it is best to take the drug used to the eugenics department of the hospital for further consultation. Not all drugs are contraindicated for pregnant women, but there are some drugs that can be used during pregnancy without affecting the fetus or the pregnant woman. The purpose of the consultation is to find out whether the drug has the potential to cause malformations in the fetus and whether it may lead to miscarriage. After the counseling, a decision will be made as to whether the pregnancy should continue or be terminated. It is also recommended to have an ultrasound examination to know, at the very least, whether the current fetal development is normal and whether the size of the gestational sac corresponds to the number of days of menopause, so that you can be clinically aware of the situation.
