The reason why wind-cold colds turn into wind-heat colds is directly related to the patient’s constitution. In general, we sometimes feel the wind-cold evil qi from the outside world, and after the wind-cold evil qi enters our body, it tends to turn into heat from Yang, that is, we encounter patients who have a hyperactive Yang constitution, and whose constitution is usually characterized by fire, body heat, dry stool, urine count, red tongue with yellow coating, and pulse count. The clinical manifestations of patients are often sore throat, dry nose or runny nose, or wind-heat cold symptoms with cough, yellow tongue coating and dry stool, with dry throat and sore throat as the main symptoms, accompanied by fever, nasal congestion and adverse airway symptoms.
