How women get pubic lice

Pubic lice in women is a contagious skin disease caused by the bite of pubic lice that parasitize the human body. Pubic lice in women are usually transmitted through sexual contact, indirect contact and so on.
1. Sexual contact: the most common way of spreading pubic lice is through sexual contact, so female pubic lice patients may get pubic lice from their sexual partners.
2. Indirect contact: pubic lice can also be spread through contact with clothes, towels, blankets and other personal items contaminated by pubic lice. Therefore, the presence of pubic lice in female patients may be caused by contact with items that are contaminated with pubic lice in their daily life.
Pubic lice parasitize on the local skin and live by sucking the patient’s blood. Their eggs can adhere to the hair and suck blood by piercing the skin through the mouthparts, resulting in mechanical damage to the organism and enhancing the stimulation of toxic secretion thus causing the emergence of erythema, pimples as well as itchiness and other uncomfortable symptoms.
Once a woman develops pubic lice disease, she should go to the hospital in time and under the guidance of the doctor for reasonable treatment.
