1. Jiuwei Wind-Extinguishing Granules is mainly composed of Tianma, gentian, tortoise board, danshen, Dilong, Hookteng, stibnium, keel bone, ripened dihuang, Faganxia, and blue mineral (pores and defects), and so on.
It has the effects of calming the liver and extinguishing wind (regulating the function of the liver to dispel internal wind), nourishing yin and resolving phlegm. It is often used to treat symptoms such as involuntary twitching, dizziness, and crooked mouth and eyes caused by internal movement of liver wind. Dizziness may occur when taking this drug, and the contraindications are not yet clear.
2. Tianlong Wind Extinguishing Granules is mainly composed of Tianma, Paeonia lactiflora, Crocus sativus, Ephedra, Sichuan hyssop, Glycyrrhiza glabra, powdered bear bile, rhubarb and other medicines. It has the functions of activating blood circulation, calming the liver and quenching wind. It is often used to treat symptoms such as crooked mouth and eyes, dizziness and twitching caused by internal movement of liver wind.
Adverse reactions such as loose stools and nausea may occur when taking this medicine. It should not be used by pregnant women or people with cerebral hemorrhage; it should be used with caution by people with high blood pressure who have a tendency to bleed and people with allergies.
