Can you still take Fenmadone after 5 years?

Generically known as Estradiol Tablets/Estradiol Dydrogesterone Tablets Combination Pack, Fenmadone can be continued as prescribed by a healthcare practitioner after 5 years of taking the medication if the benefits outweigh the risks as assessed by a healthcare professional. Estradiol Tablets/Estradiol Dydrogesterone Tablets Combination Pack is used to treat perimenopausal syndrome caused by natural or postoperative menopause. Women who have been taking this medication for 5 years should follow their doctor’s advice on whether to continue taking it. The estradiol contained in this compound replaces the decreased estrogen production in menopausal women and reduces menopausal symptoms, while dextroprogesterone is a progestin that reduces estrogen-induced endometrial hyperplasia in women with an unresected uterus. The application of Estradiol Tablets/Estradiol Deferiprone Tablets Composite Package may cause some adverse reactions, commonly headache, abdominal pain, breast pain, back pain, menstrual disorders, and weakness. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Contraindications are required for those who have or are suspected to have breast cancer, those with a history of breast cancer, those who are allergic to the drug, those who have or are suspected to have estrogen-sensitive tumors, untreated excessive endometrial hyperplasia, known or suspected pregnancies, and those who have active or recent arterial thromboembolic disease. CAUTION: The use of Estradiol Tablets/Estradiol Dydrogesterone Tablets Combination Pack in postmenopausal women because of symptoms of estrogen deficiency must be initiated only when the associated symptoms adversely affect the quality of life, and the patient should undergo a risk and benefit assessment at least annually, and should be continued only if the benefit outweighs the risk. Individuals are required to use the medication in strict compliance with medical advice and not to abuse it.
