What is inflammation of the duodenal bulb?

Inflammation of the duodenal bulb, a disease caused by inflammation of the mucosa of the duodenal bulb. The duodenum is a part of the small intestine of the body, which has the function of absorbing nutrients and digesting food. There is an intestinal canal in the area where the duodenum is connected to the pylorus, which is called the duodenal bulb because of its round shape. However, because the intestinal canal of the duodenal bulb is thin, it is more susceptible to inflammation and ulcers caused by digestive juices. When inflammation occurs in the duodenal bulb, gastrointestinal symptoms may occur, mainly nausea, vomiting, belching, and abdominal pain. Inflammation of the duodenal bulb is related to H. pylori, so the body should be checked for H. pylori infection and treated for H. pylori. Avoid eating too acidic and spicy foods to avoid damage to the mucosa of the duodenal bulb.
