Cervical CIN grade 2 is a benign cervical lesion. Cervical CIN is cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, now called cervical squamous intraepithelial lesion. High-grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions include CIN3 and most of CIN2, with a small proportion of CIN2 immunohistochemical staining P16-negative for low-grade cervical intraepithelial lesions. High-grade cervical intraepithelial lesions are precancerous cervical lesions with the potential to transform into cervical cancer. Treatment is needed to prevent transformation into cervical cancer. Treatment for high-grade squamous intraepithelial cervical lesions is mainly conical cervical resection and cervical cerclage. Women who are older, without reproductive requirements, and with other benign gynecologic diseases, and whose lesions involve the glands can undergo total extrafascial hysterectomy. Treatment of low-grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions is mainly follow-up, and treatment is given when the lesion develops during the follow-up process. Cervical CIN grade 2 should be seen promptly and appropriate treatment should be given under the guidance of a doctor.
