Allergic cough can be completely cured with standardized management and keeping away from allergens, such as treatment with montelukast sodium or inhaled glucocorticoids (budesonide) and bronchodilators (formoterol). Patients with allergic cough may need to be treated with montelukast sodium or inhaled inhaled glucocorticosteroids such as budesonide formoterol, salmeterol ticarcoson, and other combinations consisting of inhaled glucocorticosteroids and bronchodilators. With standardized treatment, some patients may be clinically cured. However, these patients must find out the allergens that cause allergic cough and avoid contact with these allergens in order to fundamentally avoid the recurrence of allergic cough. Therefore, patients with allergic cough need to standardize their treatment and stay away from allergens under the guidance of their doctors.
