What’s wrong with your legs?

3. Hypokalemic periodic paralysis: patients can have a decrease in blood potassium, there are often triggers such as overeating or strenuous exercise before the disease, and some of the patients will have a family history.
4. Spinal cord lesions: most common in acute myelitis, can lead to bilateral lower limb weakness accompanied by significant sensory impairment.
5. Lumbar intervertebral disc herniation: leg numbness and weakness can be considered to be caused by lumbar intervertebral disc herniation compressing the nerves of the lower limbs, clinically common lumbar 4-5 intervertebral disc herniation is easy to compress the sciatic nerve, resulting in dull sensation of the lower limbs, numbness, and weakness of the symptoms.
