NK/T-cell lymphoma nasal type can be treated and is a type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma that is relatively uncommon in the clinic. It is called NK/T-cell lymphoma nasal type because it often invades the patient’s nose and causes nasal congestion, nasal pain, nasal bleeding, and nasal discomfort. This type of lymphoma can be treated with a combination of therapies such as radiation therapy, chemotherapy, targeted drug therapy, immunobiologic therapy, and autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Patients who are more sensitive to radiotherapy and chemotherapy can be treated with good results, but if the results are not good, adjuvant radiotherapy and other treatment modalities can be used to prolong the survival of patients.
