There are the following possibilities for less urination and bloated stomach: 1. Acute urinary retention. In view of diseases such as prostatic hyperplasia and urethral stricture, urine cannot be excreted and an enlargement of the lower abdominal bladder occurs along with reduced urination. 2. Cirrhosis of the liver with ascites. Due to a large amount of fluid leakage into the abdominal cavity, the effective circulating blood volume decreases, and urination decreases accordingly while the abdomen expands. 3. Diseases such as acute blood loss and shock in the intra-abdominal organs. For example, decreased urinary excretion after liver and spleen rupture and shock, accompanied by massive blood loss in the abdominal cavity. All of the above diseases can present with reduced urination and abdominal distension.
