Defining a child at risk for hearing screening

  1) Family history of cerebral palsy, family history of hereditary disease.  2) Advanced maternal age: the mother’s age at the time of delivery is greater than/equal to 35 years.  3)Low maternal age: mother’s age less than 16 years old at the time of delivery.  4) Moderate or severe gestational hypertension syndrome during pregnancy (diastolic blood pressure greater than/equal to 100 mmHg).  5) Eclampsia during pregnancy.  6) Infection during pregnancy: fever (temperature of 38 degrees or more for 3 days during the third trimester), diarrhea.  7) Pre-eclampsia and fetal preservation treatment in this pregnancy.  8) Spontaneous miscarriage greater than/equal to 3 times.  9) Number of pregnancies greater than/equal to 4.  (10) Pregnant women’s diseases during pregnancy: hypertension, hepatitis, diabetes, anemia, goiter, heart disease, epilepsy, autoimmune diseases, others.  11) Pregnant women’s exposure to harmful physical and chemical factors: abdominal radiation, toxic chemicals, high voltage lines, paper mills, water pollution.  (12) Pregnant women using drugs: drugs toxic to the fetus (streptomycin, kanamycin, gentamicin, erythromycin, chloramphenicol, sulfonamide antibiotics, hormones, anti-allergic drugs, sedative and tranquilizer, antipyretic and analgesic drugs, vitamin-like drugs, antitrichomonials, anesthetics).  (13) Pregnant women with mental retardation and developmental malformations.  (14) Pregnant women with previous history of perinatal stillbirths and stillbirths.  (15) Preterm delivery: less than 37 weeks of gestation.  (16) Overdue delivery: gestation period greater than 42 weeks.  (17) Low birth weight: less than 1500 grams.  (18) High birth weight: greater than/equal to 4000 grams.  (19) The following conditions occur during labor: placenta abruptio, fetal malposition (foot first, breech first, occipital transverse), premature rupture of fetal membranes and amniotic fluid (rupture of fetal membranes occurs before delivery).  (20) Umbilical cord wrapped around the neck, knotted, small.  21)Placental aging, calcification, obstruction.  22) Excessive amniotic fluid, too little amniotic fluid, II/III contamination (degree II: amniotic fluid contamination is dark green thicker and cloudy; degree III: amniotic fluid is yellowish green, yellowish brown and sticky).  (23) Asphyxia: asphyxia at birth greater than/equal to five minutes, or a five-minute Apgar score less than/equal to five. Diagnosed as hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy.  (24) Pathological jaundice: diagnosed with nuclear jaundice, or jaundice present for less than 24 hours, or jaundice lasting more than or equal to 2 weeks (except for breast milk jaundice). (Time greater than 1 month, if breast milk jaundice, delete case) 25) Intracranial hemorrhage in the neonatal period.  26) Infectious fever and convulsions in the neonatal period, or fever lasting more than 2 days.  27) Persistent hypoglycemia in the neonatal period: the newborn does not eat for a period greater than/equal to 12 hours.  28) Cyanosis, poor breathing, poor sucking, and poor response in the neonatal period.  29) Multiple births.  30) Those who are 3 months behind in gross motor development.
