Intrahepatic thickening of the light spots is a descriptive term for ultrasound of the liver, and is an abnormal indication that there is a problem with the liver and a lesion has occurred. At this time, the examination of liver function is normal, and the lesion is considered to be mild, or the disease is in a stable state or liver compensation period. After liver injury (e.g. fatty liver, hepatitis, liver fibrosis, cirrhosis), liver cells will be repaired, and in the process of repair, fibrosis or scarring will be formed, which is reflected in the thickening of echoes on the sonogram. However, the liver has a strong compensatory ability. If the degree of liver damage is mild, the liver can maintain its normal function through compensation, so that the liver function test indexes are in the normal value range. Normal liver function does not mean that there is no liver disease. In case of thickening of the light spots in the liver, it is recommended to consult a doctor and make a comprehensive analysis with medical history, physical examination and other imaging tests to clearly diagnose the disease.
