Kidney tumor is a kind of disease with high incidence rate among malignant tumors of urinary system. For the treatment of renal tumor, there are many methods at present, and the treatment methods are not exactly the same for different sizes of renal tumors. Clinically, according to the size of the tumor, the tumor is divided into different stages. Generally, for smaller renal tumors, partial nephrectomy or enucleation of renal tumor can be performed. For larger kidney tumors, radical nephrectomy is usually performed to remove the kidney completely so as to avoid tumor recurrence. For kidney tumors with distant metastasis, in addition to radical nephrectomy, some radiotherapy is also necessary to prolong the patient’s life cycle.
