How to treat locally advanced laryngeal cancer

Locally advanced laryngeal cancer can be treated by surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. 1. Surgery: locally advanced laryngeal cancer with proximal metastasis and lymph node metastasis can be palliatively treated by surgery, while stage 3 and 4 can still choose surgery for treatment. 2. Radiotherapy: after surgery, radiotherapy can be combined with radiotherapy, especially for patients with distant metastases. 3. Chemotherapy: chemotherapy can also be carried out after surgery according to the patient’s condition and pathological staging to further shrink the tumor so as to achieve the purpose of long-term survival, or chemotherapy can be carried out first and then surgery can be carried out after the tumor shrinks.
