How long does it take for the foremilk to reach the hind milk

On the one hand, there is no clear boundary between foremilk and hind milk, on the other hand, it is also related to the mother’s own body condition, so it needs to be analyzed on a case-by-case basis. The first milk is the first milk that comes out of the breast, which is relatively light in color and has a relatively high protein and lactose content, as well as the presence of certain antibodies. The hind milk is thicker in color and has a higher fat content, which can effectively improve the child’s hunger. In general, there is no clear line of demarcation between foremilk and hind milk, and the time from foremilk to hind milk cannot be determined, some may take 3-4 minutes to eat hind milk, while some may take about 10 minutes to eat hind milk. However, both foremilk and hindmilk are needed for your baby’s growth and development. It is recommended that each time you breastfeed, you should let your baby empty one breast first and then switch to the other side, so that you can get enough foremilk and also try to get enough hind milk to ensure your baby’s daily needs and promote growth and development.
