NIBP-Sys represents systolic blood pressure in noninvasive blood pressure monitoring, where low values are risky. nIBP-Sys is often used for cardiac, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation monitoring in critically ill patients, as well as in hemodynamically unstable patients. Blood pressure monitoring can indicate the patient’s blood pressure status. For systolic hypotension, it is seen in various types of hypotension, commonly in pathological hypotension, including acute hypotensive states such as hemorrhage, infection, shock, allergy, and hypotension due to states such as coronary artery disease, acute myocardial infarction, and cardiogenic shock. In addition, it is seen in chronic hypotension, including chronic wasting diseases, such as tuberculosis and tumors, as well as various types of organic heart disease, which are also very serious conditions. It is recommended to give systematic related treatment and, if necessary, vasoactive drugs to raise blood pressure.
