Urticaria is a very common disease in dermatology, which manifests clinically as wind clusters of varying sizes that can fuse into patches and are accompanied by an itchy sensation. The disease is divided into acute urticaria and chronic urticaria, depending on the condition, duration and severity of the disease. In severe cases of acute urticaria, there may be edema of the throat, heartburn, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, and pain in the gastrointestinal tract, which is still a serious condition and must be treated immediately at the nearest emergency clinic. In general, chronic recurrent urticaria of a longer duration is called chronic urticaria, which is generally less serious, mainly because its itching can affect people’s quality of life.
