Patients with Kidney-Yin deficiency presenting with disorganized and irregular menstruation, dribbling or profuse bleeding, bright red in color and thick in texture; dizziness and tinnitus, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness (a feeling of soreness and weakness of the lumbar and knee regions), or heartburn, treat with Zuo Gui Wan. Patients with Kidney-Yang deficiency manifesting as disorganized and irregular menstruation, heavy bleeding or dribbling, pale in color and clear in texture; fear of cold and cold limbs (fear of cold, cold limbs), dark complexion, soreness and weakness of the waist and legs, and long and clear urine, treat with Right Angelica Pill. Patients with spleen deficiency syndrome show that menstrual blood arrives out of time, and the blood is light in color and thin in texture; shortness of breath and fatigue (lack of mental energy), whiteness of face (white color and lack of luster), or swelling of the face and limbs, and lack of warmth in the limbs.
