If the patient’s uterine adhesions are mild, they cannot be seen through ultrasound.
Uterine adhesions are mostly caused by uterine surgery and post-surgical infections, including cervical adhesions and uterine cavity adhesions.
Ultrasound can only be used as a preliminary diagnostic method for uterine adhesions. If the patient’s uterine adhesions are mild, they usually cannot be detected through ultrasound, and need to be combined with the patient’s clinical symptoms and examined through hysteroscopy to determine. If the uterine adhesions are more serious, the ultrasound can detect the disruption of the endometrial continuity as well as the accumulation of fluid in the uterine cavity.
If the patient has symptoms of scanty menstruation or cyclic abdominal pain, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time for relevant examination and treatment under the doctor’s guidance.
