What can be done to correct a crooked head

A condition in which the head is crooked is clinically known as a squint. This condition can be corrected in the following ways: 1. If it is a postural squint, which is caused by the patient’s own habits and poor posture, the main focus is on correcting the posture. Generally speaking, you can practice standing and sitting in front of a dressing mirror, or you can ask the patient to wear a neck brace to correct his or her own posture by force. 2. If it is a muscular condition, it is clinically known as muscular squint. In this case, traction or acupuncture, tui-na or massage treatment can be applied to the neck to relieve the muscle spasm and thus the deformity. If this is not effective, surgery can be used to cut off some of the stubborn muscle strips. 3. If the deformity is bony, such as scoliosis, the treatment will depend on the situation. If it is during the growth period, braces, traction, functional exercises can be used; if the growth has ended, surgery can be considered for correction.
