The Korean method of circumcision is what is usually called circumcision card surgery. The circumcision card, also known as a commercial ring, is a disposable circumcision cutting instrument. Before surgery, the diameter of the penis is measured with calipers according to the size of the patient’s penis, and the corresponding type of card ring is selected. During surgery, the inner and outer rings of the card ring are used to cut the inner and outer plates of the foreskin, the excess foreskin is removed along the outside of the card ring, the card ring is left in place for 7-9 days, and then the card ring is removed. Its advantages are almost zero bleeding, short operation time, avoiding cross infection because it is a disposable instrument, small trauma, no need for surgical sutures, neat cutting edge, beautiful post-operative appearance, and relatively small scars.
