Contraindications of Rexion Valsartan Amlodipine Tablets

Valsartan amlodipine tablets (I) is the generic name of Resynthroid, and contraindications include those who are allergic to the product, pregnant and lactating women, and patients with severe renal impairment. Valsartan amlodipine tablets (I) are intended for the treatment of patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure cannot be adequately controlled using monotherapy, and are made primarily from valsartan (a calcium channel blocker) and amlodipine (an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, or ARB), which will ultimately lower blood pressure better than either of these components alone. The drug should be contraindicated in persons who are hypersensitive to the product, pregnant and lactating women, patients with severe renal impairment, patients with hereditary angioedema, or those who develop angioedema early in the course of treatment with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor inhibitors or ARB analogs. Adverse reactions such as peripheral edema, nasopharyngitis, upper respiratory tract infections, and dizziness may occur during administration. The use of specific drugs should be under the guidance of a specialist and should not be used without authorization.
